Ater a fairly long day of flying we have arrived in Halifax - actually Dartmouth, to be more specific. The flight (with stops in Winnipeg and Toronto) was uneventful, although we were able to see part of it through the eyes of the 8 year old and 5 year old sitting ahead of us. ("Look - the speedway is lined with Cat in the Hat flags" and "Wow! The highways look just like cheese strings!")
The picture is the view from our hotel (in Dartmouth) looking at the bridge crossing into Halifax. Sorry - no more interesting pictures so far.
After a meal at a local restaurant (yes, we both had fish), we are now watching the Roughrider game. There ARE advantages to being outside Regina on game day, although Rob commented that perhaps tickets to the game would have been more economical than the flight to Halifax.
Although it's only quarter to six in Regina, it's closer to nine o'clock here which will give us a good excuse to go to sleep early since we have been up since 4:30 am!

Glad to hear you had an uneventful flight! Isn't it fun to hear the views of young children on what we think are "ordinary" things?
We went to the Rider game yesterday and it was fantastic! We're going again on Friday when they play BC.
Hope you have an awesome trip - take lots of pictures - and we'll keep checking the blog for updates.
Looks like a typical Halifax day though I suppose you could say that about the 20 degree and rainy day we're having today. One question, will that be your only fish meal Wendy?
Have fun!
PS Kira says you were right about the Starbucks Harry Potter comment!
